After victory in Imola, Max Verstappen’s P5 – upgraded to P4 after a penalty for Lewis Hamilton – feels fairly humdrum, though infinitely better than that of the Mercedes pair who line-up P14 and P15 respectively after the sort of Qualifying session they’ll be keen to forget.
